The Challenge: 
In 2008, the GOP lost the presidency and lost seats in both houses of Congress. These losses were mostly due to the Republican party not being able to keep up with new media techniques. So the Republican National Committee reached out to Political Media for ideas...to “think outside the box.”
Our Action:
In 2009, we launched the first-ever branded link shortener on the marketplace for the Republican National Committee called GOP.am. It shortened the link and wrapped the website’s content in a GOP banner.
The Result:
Through GOP.am and new media initiatives (many led by Political Media), the GOP saw huge gains in the 2010 Congressional elections and retook the House of Representatives...much to the disappointment Nancy Pelosi.
