Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, and many others attended President Donald Trump's White House dinner Thursday night, but Elon Musk was notably absent.

Reports suggest Musk received an invitation and that a representative had intended to take one of the more than 30 chairs around the table, but was not identified.

Google committed $150 million to AI education at the AI Education task force meeting held earlier in the day. It will be chaired by first lady Melania Trump. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also attended.
"The robots are here, and our future is no longer science fiction," First Lady Melania Trump said during the AI education meeting earlier in the day. "I won't be surprised if AI becomes known as the greatest engine of progress in the history of the United States of America."

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg pledged to spend about $600 billion on data centers and infrastructures in the United States through 2028, all earmarked for innovation. Much of that will go toward supporting advertising.

This article underscores a striking reality: bipartisan support for AI infrastructure—whether spurred by President Trump’s corporate coalition or major tech firms like Meta—demonstrates that innovation knows no party lines. From a conservative perspective, this is precisely the kind of market-driven leadership we should celebrate. When the private sector leads the charge in building the digital backbone for next-gen advertising, it frees government to facilitate—not dictate—progress. The $1 billion commitment from Hitachi Energy, AI investments by tech giants, and Trump’s facilitation of corporate buy-in signal that the free market, when unleashed, delivers both technological advancement and economic benefits. Rather than expanding regulatory mandates, conservatives should champion policies that cut red tape, promote infrastructure investment, and enable American ingenuity to flourish. ~Political Media
